A step by step journey through water related debates in the youth field. You will learn the essentials when it comes to international water education topics and interact with water as an environmental element. Take an active role in understanding the power of water on a local and global level while enjoying a break at the coast of Tuscany.
This activity aims to promote water activism and international water justice awareness through non-formal education methodologies, empowering youth while utilizing water sports, nature trekking, field visit, movie night and open debates.
The international team will include 20 young people from all around Europe. Residents of all backgrounds, from any European country, will gather together in the beautiful naturefriends house in Cecina, Tuscany in Italy, for a week of exchange.
The house is situated 100 meters from the coast of Tuscany on the Mediterranean coast, making it a perfect spot in harmony with the topic of the event. GranPino house, as the first ever house opened in Italy in the network of Gruppo Italiano Amici della Natura (GIAN), has 30 beds to offer in rooms with different numbers of single and double beds. There are several bathrooms and showers in and outside the house, making it a perfect spot for group activities. Rooms allocated at the ground level are accessible for people with physical disabilities.
The house is equipped with a professional kitchen team, providing authentic Italian cuisine everyday.
